2015+ HT auto rear diffuser replica
Just came across this on eBay. Wondering is anyone has purchased and installed it? Trying to get an idea on the fitment. Last eBay purchase I did was the rear spats for like $40 shipped. Quality was ok for the price but needed some minor dremeling to fit perfect.

... if the price is right, why not take the plunge? It is only plastic after all and should be able to be modified as necessary...and few people will see what it looks like under the car.
Mounting hardware aside, how many places actually make the same style/designed rear diffuser? This looks like the HT Auto's piece, but a different name. I looks alright, style wise (paint matched or unpainted), but I doubt there are any aero benefits. I suppose you get extra points, "because rally car", at a show. The only thing that has me iffy on these plastic diffusers is their hardware and mounting methods, or lack thereof. Mounting the leading edge to the two plastic grommets in the spare tire well doesn't really sit to well with me. More bracketry is needed in my opinion. Or suppliment the massive washers and tiny plates with 3M tape. |
