OMGHi2U AccessPORT holder

So a Nabisco user came up with an AccessPORT holder that he wanted me to try out, so I sent him the gross national product of the African country of Burkina Faso, and this arrived:

How it came in the box

Packaging material

Thoughts:

It is SPECIFICALLY made for the Cobb AccessPORT and not something originally designed to hold feminine napkins that somewhat fits it like other holders. Not saying the other holders are bad, but this is specifically made for the AccessPORT.

I used the center vent holder but it also comes with shorter attachments so you can put it on that round vent to the left of the steering wheel. This leads me to grip. Grip is a hard sell as you don't want the holder to have a kung fu grip on your AccessPORT, nor do you want a summer's breeze to knock it out of the holder. This unit makes the perfect compromise between the two. An even better grip is the little arms that hold the holder to the center vent. I specifically tried to remove it post install and it was 23% more difficult than removing the AccessPORT from the holder, but not so difficult that you launch into hambeast mode and smash everything in sight. This is great as the grip has to walk the line between being "permanent" for some owners to "hide it quick" for some owners who visit such nice places as Baltimore or anywhere in New Jersey.

Installed shot

Notice...a little doo-hickey (technical term) to provide stress relief for the connector? The four little arms hold it in place and you can mash all the buttons without it wiggling all over the place or otherwise feeling janky.

My cats are not impressed

Where do I buy this?

Hopefully this will be available soon, with pricing to be announced. If you must have one today, send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with him directly.

The randomness of that packing material is utterly disturbing. Cool holder though.

I have one of these already and it's just right. Well designed, perfect fit. Your AP fits snug, but is easy to remove when you need to. The vent clip is much harder to remove, which is exactly what you want. This is a must-have for all AP users. All hardware and instructions are included.

Apparently no one, that's why it's being used as packing material
