Default Value of OEM STI struts

So Iím in the market for some sti springs for my 07 WRX. Someone local is selling 07 sti struts and springs but will only sell as a set. He will take $200 for the lot, which Iím not really sure is a good deal? Seems springs alone go for $60-$100 from what Iíve seen. If I do this, is there a market for used struts by themselves? If so, what kind of value should I expect? Pretty new to the Subaru world so not sure what the market is like for used struts. Thanks for the help

There is no NADA or Kelly Blue book on car parts. This is further obfuscated in that the seller is selling springs/struts and your brain is saying, "Springs are only $100...so I only want to buy for $100". Tell your brain to pack sand. Either buy the lot for $200 or don't. And if $200 is too big of a leap, likely the ~$80 alignment that is REQUIRED for suspension work is a bridge too far as well.

Cars are neat. They are also expensive. Get off the wallet.

I think Iím shying away from the sti springs as I donít think it would be enough of a drop. For time being as I donít want to heavily invest in suspension yet, what do you guys think about the swift lowering springs? Seems to be a subtle drop (.8Ē rear and 1Ē front) and they work with the stock struts. FWIW, I already have front and rear Cobb sway bars and strut bar. Thanks for the help
