Default X Force VAREX (Valvetronic) Exhaust Cat-Back 2015+ STi & WRX

Does anyone now have the 15+ STi (or WRX ) X force cat-back exhaust with VAREX muffler system? This is an electronic valved exhaust system allowing for variable volumes. I have some questions about fitment, wiring, SMARTBOX Bluetooth app usage for variable positions, and sound.

I’m interested in this one from Rallysport Direct (clickable) Part number: ES-SW26-VMK-CBS

However I just learned about their “new louder update”, this model link (clickable) has a slightly differing part number: ES-SW27-VMK-CBS.

No idea on differences and which is better to get.

Any feedback would be appreciated from anyone with experiences on this, or any previous X force Varex exhaust systems. Thanks!

I don't have their Varex catback, but I've been really happy with the quality-to-expense ratio of their 'regular' catback for my '09 hatch. Great fitment and construction for the $.

The only issue I had was the cheap, smallish muffler packed out and got pretty obnoxious after about 8 months. I had a local muffler shop swap out the muffler for a larger Magnaflow, and I've been happy with the mellower exhaust tone.
