Default 31 and loving mine!

These cars were built for men in there 20s and 30s in my opinion! who else has the money and knowledge to make these cars amazing. The guys in their late 20s to 30s! I don't care what society thinks I put the car seats right in the back!

I think they were built for people with certain outlooks on what they want in their car, not so much on age group.

It's what you may (or may not) plan for your WRX/STi once you have it that probably varies more with age. At two times your age and then some, chances are pretty good that our WRX was bought with different reasons in mind and with possible future plans that aren't the same as yours.

Definitely not the case in Canada.

There's definitely some 20-30 y/o but the big majority is certainly 30+. Also, out of every 10 STI or WRX I see, no more than 3 appear modified.

Not to say there aren't modified subbies. There's a group/community of modified cars and racebois, and if you want to surround yourself in that, you will find 100% of the modified ones... but they are not the majority. At all.

Lots of JDMs too.

I'm 30 and was driving a 2018 Subaru WRX. Loved the car in every way, but had to sell it recently as I'm moving to a different country.

Fun fact: I took delivery of the car on my 40th bday last spring. That was not planned. The order had been placed months earlier. Cue the midlife-crisis jokes.

But really, none of my previous cars were snoozefests. This is my fourth consecutive performance-enhanced Turboru Impreza or Impreza-adjacent sedan, including a previous STI, a WRX, and a 2.5GT. And before that, I started on a pair of V6 front-drivers. But it's fair to say the STIs have had the most hair-on-fire power delivery of all of them, as one might expect from a 300-plus-horsepower engine that hasn't had its coffee until about halfway up the tachometer.
