I want to add 2 runs of 1/0g wire for my audio gear
At my first look, I think I will have to run them along the frame rail on the under side of the forester. Not my first choice for my off grid runs out in the bush... so I will ask if any one has ran big A wire on a 04 Forester any other way. I will make a power and ground all the way to the spare tire area.

or, use 2 layers of (split) wire loom appropriate for 1/0 wire. use tape and or zip ties to keep it tidy. What makes it hard to run the wire along the inside kick panels/door jams? Pop the scuff plates, remove B-pillar trim, pull carpet back, fish through openings, wire loom for protection. Yes, sounds easier then in actual practice, but not impossible. |
