The FR-S is the second best bike carrier in my fleet. The Rav has a hitch rack, the FR-S has drawings for the tow bolt bike tray, and the MINI has zero ideas.

Phew! Took the wife and family for a test fit and then for a drive and ... she loved driving it All three of them whined it's small, it's tight, I feel the road under me blah blah. After all was said and done I think they understand. Fingers crossed I can pick it up tomorrow

I love the bump
Never let the salesman talk to your wife while you're not there. He called it mid life crisis white I guess it's possible he was right Last edited by gravitylover; 11-05-2014 at 08:33 AM. |

Mine is mid life crisis white, too. I could spend hours looking at this car. Dem fender bumps and those haunches.

Looking at your ride kind of makes me wish I was wingless. I'd go out of my mind trying to figure out what I'd want to put on there, though. I often ponder about the STI trunk lip spoiler. You either love it or hate it.

I'm planning on sneaking a TRD ducktail spoiler back from Japan in April. Otherwise, I'll stick with a naked trunk. |

Thanx guys! This thing is fun
Haha club terrible That does seem to be where the kids hang out. This will most likely be where I end up more often but that place is a wealth of info if you dig. I need another couple of days to get used to it but there are some sounds the car makes that I wonder about. Last edited by gravitylover; 11-05-2014 at 08:28 AM. |

I don't think I would as a primary vehicle. The build quality seems fairly low; there are lots of noises and rattles. Engine performance is mediocre (even with a header, CAI, and tune) and the transmission does not "feel" like it is very durable or reliable. And unfortunately, cargo and passenger capacity is just a little too meager for my lifestyle. It still is great as a driver's car and handles better than anything else I've owned.
If I could afford to have a summer/track car, I would buy a used one and build it up. |

It was fun for a while, but...
I had a lot of fun at the track, and with Driver Skills courses, but with 4 kids I've decided to I'm selling the BRZ and getting a 2015 WRX STI. Very stoked.

If you sell a couple of the kids you could go up to a Cayman from the BRZ instead of going to the STI.

Not the worst upgrade, but I think I would've gone with the WRX, especially with kids. That FA20DIT! So done with the EJ.

Yes buy again. Best bang for the buck. Like driving a late 80s 911 only it shifts great and the AC also woks great.
My son loves it now so I'm moving on to STI. |

But..............having driven the new WRX and it's about same price I would opt for the AWD more powerful WRX. The BRZ is funner to drive for sure but the WRX is so versatile and also good in snow. The BRZ goes nowhere in snow.

That being said I wouldn't buy the 2015+ BRZ since they softened the suspension up. No need for that. |

I get around great in the snow. Just not the best on pure ice...
