Best description of rear bumper:
"Around the back of the alleged new M2 is where things start to get weird. The rear bumper looks like it's been punched in the *******, with the diffuser-style trim piece and exhaust tips sunk so far into the bumper that we'll have to call James Cameron and his submarine to go in there. "

Nobody else in Germany has trouble modernizing and making the cars look good. Audi, VW, Benz, Porsche. Wtf is wrong with BMW?

Their chief designer who is a pompous douche and thinks we need to appreciate his designs. Current CEO also sucks so that doesnít help.

I have an M340i on order, is it going to be collectible as the last good looking bmw?

same as this but bi-color wheels.

The prefer the M240i just because it's smaller and two doors and long hood and small butt.

Itís worse than ever could be imagined.

This was supposed to be the last fun gas car before the entire industry goes to hell.

The best motor, driving dynamics, everything. Itís ugly as sin.

Is this how they get us all in electric appliances? They ruin the gas options???

I don't super agree with the new RS3's looks but, they went all out for the last ICE version. Idk what BMW is thinking. Then again, I never know what Subaru is thinking lmao

Itís likely still the last fun ICE M car. Just because it doesnít look like we were hoping doesnít mean the driving experience is affected.

Do I think it will look as good as the outgoing model? Nope. That car was damn sexy. When I had my M2, I had everyone from little kids, to elderly grandma complimenting my car. Definitely think the Long Beach blue color added tk that.

That said, while not a fan of the leaks, Iíll hold out judgement. I have a feeling Iíll be neutral on it. Not loving it but not hating it.

I did see on the forums that a member swapped a S55 into an OG M2 after his motor blew with 12k miles at 650whp at some ridiculous speed. Total cost including engine, install, coding, etc etc was $14k. Not too badly priced.

Iíve definitely had the itch for another M2 but with winter coming, trying to increase cash balance, fun car out of the question for now.

Looks ok in this rendering. The fender vent should have made it.

The rear design makes more sense with a crazy exhaust

Not bad overall IMO. Those boxy inlets were revealed a long time ago, so not a shocker seeing the actual car.

That render doesn't have its ass pushed in.

Itís not exactly ugly itís just very unattractive. Even the current M2 looks perfect except the rounded butt, which only looks decent with the CS spoiler to give it a little character. They tried to make this one more boxy and it just looks weird.

I'm basically at two thumbs up for it, but that's affected by the fact that I would never consider buying one.

M240xi is definitely no slouch and looks fairly good. Only a few more days until the M2 reveal.

It's definitely got a 90's GTR vibe at the front with the rectangular openings. I don't think that light blue is the optimal color to show off this car.

We should have the G87 M2 unveil tomorrow night. Rumor mill is G87 M2 competition in 2024. Wouldn't be surprised if M2CS is 2025 and final goodbye of pure ICE M2.

Starting to see 2019-2021 M2C prices coming down while M2CS pricing holding firm at or above $100k.

The screen setup ruins it for me. "80's design" well not that got damn dash. You'd think they'd get it for the M2. Nice analog gauges whether really analog or like the last gen where it's a screen. I mean is this a BMW M2 or a got damn space ship? If buying I'd rather have the previous gen.
