Ah, the Subaru Fifteen. What a great name. No? XV...Cross Vehicle, like Crossover Vehicle. So much better than Suzuki Vehi-Cross. Got it, marketing department has been on fire.

Hold on, let's do Crosstrek and have an unnecessary lawsuit from Trek bikes. Fantastic idea.

Both are questionable names.

I hope we finally see the 1.8t come to the states. Maybe not quite an enthusiast option, but I imagine it would make for peppy enough commuter for a little fun.

https://creative311.com/?p=146135looks like JCO beat me to but I didn't think they would announce the brand new crosstrek this early, however the USDM may not have all the features of this JDM version. The body will be same, but the powertrains and certain aspects of the interior and eyesight may be shown at the LA auto show in November

putting some pieces together - Toyota said that they're working on a small EV suv. Granted, the image in the article is a lot smaller than a crosstrek, but who knows...

https://europe.autonews.com/automake...l-electric-suv

Maybe they're going to let Subaru lead the way with the release and play second fiddle on this one, the reverse of what happened with the soterra/bz4x?

It's a very active video for something that will unlikely do 0-60 in less than 12s

Right at 8 seconds, that's definitely not an ICE. Maybe hybrid? But there's absolutely an electronic buzz going.

Stylized wind noise to invoke a sense of speed.

Can't wait (PS, I'd rather you be right, but I don't think so).

My guess is the Crosstrek. Not sure why someone thinks it's "early". That leaked timeline from a few years ago shows it being very close to the beginning of 23CY. And that is for the USDM. Debuting it now would be just right.

I think they are saying "SUV" cause they are changing the name over there. Waiting for the debut to "announce" it.

i pray that the next crosstrek gets a boost in power. Great car with a lackluster powertrain. Had to trade in for a WRX to scratch my itch.

Please tell me that sweet, sweet FA24DIT is on the way. That would be such an epic car, even with CVT.

Fun fact, the 2.5 would give the new Integra a run for its money .
