Default Any halo headlight subie here?

This thread is not meant to start a "halo looks dumb and ricey on a subie." I wanted to know if anyone out there have halo on their car and how long they lasted. My headlights were done by lightwerkz with quad halos. But the halos died a long time ago. Being too busy i never bother taking them out. Did more research and found out that halos are crap and don't last long. However, profile pivot came out with their switchback halo and i was wondering if anybody has tried their lighting? How long does it last? I wanted to replace my dead halos with theirs, but don't know how well their products are. They claim it to last a long time, but so was my current halo and it died on me. I don't want to put them on and 6 months later it goes out on me. If its trash, i will just yank the old halos out and go haloless. Thanks....

This is somewhat off topic but I am also looking to instal halos on my 07 impreza. I just painted the headlight housings about 2 weeks ago and now I think halos will wrap it all together. I am really not trying to spend $200+ on a diy project I could potentially butcher so I am just going to buy a universal kit that I think will fit my low beam cone thing. Back to your question however I have a friend with a Nissan 370z and he has Bluetooth rgb halos and he has had them for about a year and two months now and they still look as excellent as they did on the first day he installed them. I donít believe the make should affect the lifespan of the halos in any way and I will gladly ask him what brand they are if you are interested, because they look to be very good quality and last long.

Yeah. I like to know what he is using. I had mine as daylight driving light, so its on everytime. Wondering if he runs his the same. My research has showed me that its not really the led on the halo that is going out, its actually a bad module/inverter that keeps burning out. So i wondered if his is any better. Thanks.

You have switchback or the rgb? You run them on every time you drive? I am looking into the switchbacks and i want to run them as drl. I don't care for the rgb. The variety of (christmas) color don't appeal to me lol....
