Default Greater Detroit Area Thread

Figured being I'll be moving to Oxford in December I'd start a meet thread for the greater Detroit area. I know Grand Rapids has a huge following, but I don't really see any meet threads for the west side of the state that are active much.

Hope to get some meets together, and start up a new active thread on the west side of the state.

There's afew forum members on iwsti who have 2 meets per month. I work here in Warren, counted atleast 6 08+ hatched WRXs in the parking lot, i don't think a single one of them know these forums are even around.

I'm in the GR boards as well. I own a house in Southfield but work in GR. I'm usually on the East side of the State on weekend so if we do anything on a Friday night or Saturday I'll be down.

Where at in RO?

Nice Saabaru. I love those stock 17" wheels. Just put my 16" stockers on for winter.

How my car looks during the warmer months

Winter Setup, thinking about some mudflaps.

Spun 2 rod bearings. Had oil consumption problems, bad ringlands. I bought the car broken also so this is the 3rd motor for this car. Here is my build thread.

Well that's always an option but not a cheap one

Yeah definitely not cheap. If I could, I would restart my subaru experience. Get another broken car, put the ej207 and sti transmission in right away, nice stage 2 tune, hawkeye sti front end, saabaru rear end, 06-07 wrx limited interior and some wheels and exhaust. A jdm sti motor at stage 2 would be a perfect power level for me, pretty reliable and still awesome, but one has to dream

Lol one can only dream. If money was no option I'm sure all of our cars wouldn't look the way that they do
