For the asking price I'm sure all owners will have it taken care of. I was just thinking of those that haven't taken care of their carbon fiber and let it fade.

You wonder where they will find 25 rust-free chassis. I'd presume for a half a million there won't be rust. Or maybe that's part of how they get down to 1200kg?

I would think it is an EJ.
Also, the 19" wheels are a bit much. 18" would look and perform better as long as they fit over those brakes. |

90's Japanese cars in the Southwest/West/Areas anywhere in the world that don't salt the roads, don't rust out like 70's Japanese cars do. My 93 when I bought it had 340,000 miles and zero rust for example. Plenty of coupe chasis around too for them to import and turn into these. |

19's. WHY. That looks awful. There is literally nothing good about going with a 19 on this.

That's a disappointing design choice overall. Not lusting after it in any way.

This is a complete wasted opportunity. They had a chance to build a 'Singer' 22b. But they chose to just build the same rally car body they had built back in 1999-2001. I have not seen the interior so I will hold final judgement, but this car should have bespoke body panel and completely revised headlights/tailights. It should be a close approximation, but not just a cookie cutter looking car. I see them selling out, but this is B- effort.

Door mirrors: Awful.
19" wheels: Awful. Dual-tip single-exit exhaust: Awful. I mean, I've seen the 22b, and I love the 22b, so I'm not really sure what I was expecting. Fortunately, as far as I can tell, all of those parts are swappable with standard Subaru parts and Prodrive put in the bulk of the work building the rest of the car. |

19" wheels probably needed for those HUGE brakes...
But so far, outside of the transmission, would be pretty easy to make a similar build for $50k including the carbon bits. |

Widening the track. Anti-lag. Full digital dash. Complete reworking of the engine. Suspension. AND pretty much all the exterior being carbon. All that for $50K?

Yeah, we read that same statement, Sir. Is it the latest discontinued EJ25? What's the warranty on one of these bad boys?

anti lag = bolt on kits are available now full digital dash = probably same one seen in rally cars. LCD maybe reworking engine = $$ here, but nothing new probably, parts they already have Suspension = please, bolt on Carbon, yeah, this could be expensive, but probably off molds they have. I could see this being done for around 50k. |
