Looking for a shop or experienced individual (with references of work) located between Pittsburgh and Indiana to do a drivetrain swap on 2 stage rally cars....

Both are NA on factory wiring/ECUs. Basically we need someone to take the complete drivetrain (down to the harness/ECU) out of car A and put it into car B.

I'm pretty sure Nate @ TPG Tuning in Blairsville could fit that bill...

If he can't do it, I'm sure he can point you in the direction of someone that could.

Are they what is left of, or in any other way affiliated with, Slowboy?

I see Blairsville, DSMs, and Mike Huml's name on a "featured car."

Slowboy moved to Florida a few years ago and I think have either gone belly up since or just changed their name. I wouldn't directly affiliate them with Slowboy by any means but I believe Nate did work for them for a short time.

I have personally had two cars at their shop and they've done amazing work. I have seen some cars that have came out of that shop and I would be extremely shocked to find someone with major complaints.

Slowboy and TPG are not affiliated and if they were I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

SOP is that threads get locked/moved when they hit 10,000 posts. It's a technical issue that puts strain on the server, to index large threads. This is our instruction from the site owner.

And I didn't do it the last few times.

And you can shut you hole.

Doctor calls it a "probable rupture" and I will get an MRI in the next day or two.

Can I still ride? Hmm. haha

Probably not that bad then. in my case it was first uncomfortable. Later that night it got worse, then unbearable. Not trying to play tough guy but I do have a high pain tolerance. This had me rolling around on the floor beating my fist into the carpet. There was no getting away from it. Doctor friend told me to get on crutches and suspend the leg. Pain was down to bearable in minutes and I could walk on it by morning.

Not that quickly but yes. If not ruptured it will heal. All the doc does is speed it along with drugs and therapy.I had a serious limp and should have stayed on the crutches for a few days. Stacy has access to a lot of stuff due to her job. I have a doctor friend that happens to work with her as well. I was able to bomb it with flexeril, celebrex and 800mg ibuprofen to get the inflammation down. I never did go to the doctor. Mine was not ruptured but hurt like all get out for about an hour. That is why I am assuming yours is not.

Vern's was the hamstring. I think that's more painful but heals better that the Achilles?

As far as riding, if it's the left leg, it will probably be painful. Right leg you can brake with your heel if necessary. Since you're a noob just starting to build habits and reactions, I'd take it slow and stick to short rides nowhere near traffic to get started.
