will an 04 sti ecu and wiring harness work on an Ej207 V8?
This is a dilemma of posts because I am asking questions about both the 2.0L and 2.5L.....
I am wondering if the Stock STI wiring harness and Ecu can work on an EJ207 V8 engine if reflashed by the likes of AZscoobie? Isn't it architecturally the same as an Ej255/Ej257 on the wiring and AVCS controls?? Thanks all! RYNO

not really...
1. different avcs 2. DBW vs cable throttle engine harness could be different, I never compared the two so can't say for sure |

What is different about the AVCS, and Why couldn't I just adapt a DBW intake and throttle body onto the Earlier EJ207 V8 Engine???
