I've got rust on the rear fender and this gives me just the excuse to go badass on my bugeye wagon... and forget painting blue.. leave them black.

oh that is sooo mean.

thread subscribed and hopefully will be posting pics this spring.

now to go get some tanks and heat up my torches to do some cutting.

I saw this a while back and considered them for my sedan, but adding arches to a car that's already got blisters seemed odd, plus I couldn't find those Wald flares for the life of me.

But since there are some relatively affordable knock-off arches out there now, I'm wondering how bad they'd look on top of the factory fender blisters on a WRX sedan. Anyone got any pictures of that setup?

I searched all over, I don't think you are going to find them any where. The Team Prototype flares are knock-offs, just picked up a set. They shipped them right out.

Mine are actually off a Scion XB.. just bought the rears off a friend of mine. They are not a perfect fit as you can see. My body shop is gonna do a little cutting and adding fiberglass to make them perfect. I like these because they arent as "bubbly" as the prototype one's and not as long<---> front to rear

hahaha yea that was my goal... super aggressive. The fenders are just OEM Subaru sedan fenders and the front bumper is made by VOLTEX (kinda pricey be ready). I believe the rear flare is just a plain old ebay Scion XB fender flare, not sure I got it off my friend. The rear lip is JDM STi wagon rear lip with a JDM midwing.. and the side skirt is just an OEM side strake add on.

its not BAD... but at the same time its not great... if you look towards the bottom of the flare on both sides , you will see that they flare "in" towards the tire a bit to much...so that will have to be addressed. On the rear side my body man and myself decided to just shave it off some and basically make a little bigger "arch" on the rear side of the flare. On the door sil side, we are basically going to cut off the bottom piece right behind the second rivet point and aim it towards the door more. This will leave a empty piece on the inside section which we will simply fill in with fiberglass. On the top near the door .. you see it pokes out just a bit, so we will shave that down and some and clean it up to make fitment right. Considering they arent made for the car... the fitment is not bad no. Just be prepared to do some work... like i said dont expect to get these in the mail and bolt them right up.

Wow... I'd love to see someone make some cheap fender flares like these without any major work with fiberglass and fitting... damn though, these look good

I looked at those, even sent the company several inquiring emails... never a return answer with the exact specs of the flares.... frustrating.

They look great! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the shop charge you?
