Back from the dead lol. Ever get it running? I'm thinking about doing this to my wagon. I would really like to pick your brain on it.

Yes, the car is up and running again and I'm back enjoying it! What do you need to know?

Bumping this thread for some info.

So I'm currently on a quest to track down some fender flares for my 04' wagon, but I seriously can't seem to find anything. Ebay even yielded no results.

Does anyone know where to buy flares these days?

Bump AGAIN. Rusting rear passenger fender and would rather put a flare on it than have a body shop do a half assed repair.

No matter what flares you decide to run, you will have to do some trimming and molding. It's not really an exact science and takes some work to get it to look right. These are my mk2 golf flares:

Looks very nice.

Could you share with us more details with your "trimming and molding"?

Thanks!

Sweet man pix just loaded would u be able to take a side and rear pic. I have a set of 18x9 xxr530's. Im was actually looking at a few different ideas and this one one of them. So i decided to search nasioc lol .

If anyone is interested: Wald IS300 replicas

^^I came upon the same site when I was surfing the interwebs. Is it just a single FS post? Or someone that has the hookup? haha

I'm trying LegacyGT.com as well, but does anyone know if the VW mk2 flares fit on the 2005 LGT wagon wheel well? Not sure if anyone on here has done it, but I'm super curious. I've been seeing it on another thread where they've been fitting perfectly on the blobeye! (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2410759)

So far I've mounted them (mk2's) on my blobeye, and Mechatricity mounted them on his hawkeye. Both installs were fully custom, so I'm sure you can make them work too. Go for it! Post your progress/results.
