Drip from under the car
I have a 2013 wrx and have about 2000 miles on it. Im driving it cross country and stopped at a motel when i noticed liquid dripping from the bottom of my wrx (near the top right wheel). I snooped under the car and found the source, where a clear liquid was dripping (no odor). The source was coming from a open tube that was secured by a clasp. I do not know if there was supposed to be something attached to the tube, and that is the reason why it was dripping, or if it is meant to do that. I did use my windshield wipers once, but that was about two hours before i noticed the drip. It was a sizable amount of liquid when i discovered it... probably a 10 inch diameter circle of liquid.
Please let me know if I am just being an amateur and that it is what supposed to happen. Thanks!

Water or condensation. It's fine.
Is this your first car? Last edited by sc00by4life; 06-26-2013 at 12:34 AM. |

Probably AC condensation, which is absolutely normal. All cars do it to varying degrees, but typically drivers forget that it happens during the summer because you use the heater in fall, winter, and spring. With only 2k miles you probably haven't driven it in the summer either. My '08 OBS leaks from the right front too.

Dude, that's your TGV fluid, that hose should be connected! Take it to the dealership IMMEDIATELY before you toast them.

If it was from near the right front wheel, I’d say it was AC condensation/nothing to worry about. But, since it was from near the top right wheel, I think you need to rotate your top and bottom wheels.
I rotate mine clockwise everytime i drive forward. I crack me up |

How are you going to diagnose the liquid without tasting.
