just to clarify, you want some random person on this forum to track down the builder of a 2011 STI with the info that it was purchased in Chicago and the seller 'said' it came from Texas, which may or may not be true?

So basically, the seller doesn't have this info which means they are just flipping cars or hiding the truth?

I suppose i'm cheap, but would never buy something without the proper paperwork before closing the deal for a purchase this large.

Yup. How does one even come up with such random requests?

BTW, the other guy found the car he was looking for thru Facebook, It was posted in several groups and the car located within a matter of hours. Just as fast, the OP also setup a imauselessmillennial page to buy the car from the current owner.

holy crap your kidding.

And I thought that dude cared enough to actually spend HIS money to do that for his friends son which would have been pretty damn commendable, but I guess what he meant was he was willing to spend other peoples money.

I'm curious if he actually gets donations and then the owner still won't accept the price does he give all the money back?

Here it is.

https://www.imauselessmillennial.com/f/buying-jo...back-for-zayne

Tough time for the family and this would be a nice present for the kid to remember his father. I really feel for them, perhaps the friend is trying to contribute in whatever form he can. Certainly would have been very commendable if he bought it back with his own money.

To prevent people posting up that website and trying to get money; the admins several years ago changed it so whenever you type it in that would replace it.

the programmers of this site make it say I'm a useless millennial because so many people were posting their donation links

Honestly, I get the sad story thing, but do people donate who don't even know the family? I mean there's literally millions of sad stories out there

LOL. If I had to guess, I doubt we will ever hear from the OP again. He is probably on Facebook now ranting about how NASIOC is full of jerks.

Never a dull moment on these forums.

Just have been too busy and forgot to check this. I thought about posting on missed connections on Craigslist.
