Wiper Problem

Haven't had a chance- been very busy at work.

As I said, I did park it, then adjusted wiper arms. Still did not work. I'll try again when I have some time this week.

Three years later, the bushing I replaced in early 2017 wore out again, and I completely forgot how I had managed to replace the bushing the first time. I ended up coming back to this thread and successfully followed the instructions I wrote in my own post. Thanks, past self! Squeezing the new bushing into the linkage still sucks and took about four tries. The boiling water technique works, you've just got to get angry at the bushing and really yard on it. It's injection-molded nylon, it's tough, it'll survive. For three years, anyway.

Update:
I tried it and it worked (sort of), removing the old bushing was a pain in the behind, but the universal bushing did the job at least till it got loose again. I fixed it again by applying a lot of pressure with pliers but the rubber still wouldn't fit flush. It works fine again but I think it still smacks the a pillar, I ordered another wiper transmission just in case.
