![]() This is an 05 STI with the Perrin GT30R kit with .82 a/r housing. Its using the Perrin Blow-through MAF pipe, custom CAI, and PE850cc injectors. All on the stock block of course. Tuned with Cobb AP with EQ Tuning custom map.
Here's the 91 tune at 19.5psi peak: ![]() And here's the tune on Sunoco 110 at 26-27psi peak: ![]() We actually started running out of fuel on the 110 tune which tells me the walbro is having a hard time keeping up. The customer is going to install a dual walbro setup, a custom EQ Tuning Blow-Through MAF pipe, and possibly a nitrous intercooler sprayer and we'll see what else this turbo has in it. Thanks -- Ed

![]() Ed,
Nice results. How do you log the boost on cars like this? Im guessing a hallman mbc and a boost gauge.....mainly wondering how you do road tunes on a car like this that dont have a boost gauge? Also, has the customer considered meth? Wouldnt running dual jet meth on the intercooler provide the cooling of the nitrous kit, reduce egt's and also reduce the IDC to make the fuel pump happier? ![]() What kind of dyno is this? Is that the limit what you can do on 91 Pump Gas? I was going to have this setup with 92 Pump Gas. I like how you have 2 different maps one for street and other for track use. 100WHP difference!! You gotta love the Cobb AP.

i don’t want meth cuz there is no fail safe in my eyes. meth+pump= race gas. only purpose of the nitrous intercooler is to get the heat soak out of the intercooler at high boost. but she does pull like a mother ![]() |

![]() check out the aquamist hfs 5 kit. its the one i have. it has 3-4 failsafes
Constant pressure system - very low pressure ripple (factory set to 125psi) - High speed PWM valve ensure accurate flow control against fuel duty cycle. - Fast dynamic response time to load and RPM change - DDS3 (bundled) ensures flow is monitored constantly for clogged jet or cut hose. - 2x failsafe channels to perform advanced failsafe tasks such as boost cut, map switch, etc. - Water and methanol compatible (0-100%) http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...em-p-3120.html |

![]() Thanks Rob! The road dyno software has proven to be very consistent and reliable. I don't even know how I'd go about road tuning a car without a good power reference like this.

![]() Hey, would you mind telling us the coefficient of drag and the frontal area that you use in the calculations? Do you use something similar to Cd .33 and 7.8 ft². If it is a secret or you use a different formula, I understand.
