![]() Doesn't it also blow cold air down there? I live in LA... the only reason for heat is to defrost the windows

![]() Yeah, it blows cold air too if you live in the land of perpetual 80 degrees and sun.

![]() I removed the rear seats and there is the plastic backed part facing the trunk - if you remove it and trace the shape of it - you can then cut some material to attach to it.
I did this and used a metal strip with holes in it for the backside to support the wood/amp weight. In my previous RS I had amps under both seats, summer time this worked well. Winter time I had lots of problems with the kids in the rear kicking things with their wet boots and snow/crap getting on things from all sides. Some amps are better for this, some have layouts that just don't work well (power, speakers one side, RCA & controls other). MTX and another brand (JL?) have everything in one spot and a nice cover to protect the connections. In the trunk I used a wire cage (the kitchen kind you find at Home Depot) to protect the wires from stuff in the trunk banging around. |

![]() you should pull the backseat out to do it anyways, I put my mids amp there. If the amp is really heavy I would say pick anything place. For my sub amp I good a place of wood, covered it in carpet, and put it off to the side.
