Mixing through the turbo?
So I have a blobeye wrx wagon which I bought with a recent swap. When I bought it the car wasn’t holding oil because the oil pan wasn’t sealed correctly but when I fixed that I starting seeing coolant mixed with my oil. I immediately thought it was a head gasket and fixed that but when I took that old one off it didn’t seem like it was blown. I swapped it anyway and bled it and everything was fine for about 2 weeks and the same issue started happening again. I compression tested the engine because I thought it could’ve been a cylinder and everything was fine. After that I was told that the turbo could be the issue but 1. I never heard of anything like that and 2. I wouldn’t know how to test if the turbo is good or not. Taking any and all ideas guys, give me some help.

Sounds like it's time to buy or rent a cooling system pressure tester and see where you're losing coolant.
What do you mean exactly when you say swap? Assuming you did your due diligence replacing the old headgasket? Seems strange that a leak would disappear and then reappear 2 weeks after a HG job, unless something was overlooked during surface prep or reassembly. Definitely doesn't make sense for a leaky turbo seal to temporarily close up after a HG replacement, if it's even possible for the oil and coolant to cross-contaminate there. |

could be a leaky o ring in the block surface between the two halves. that and HG are the only spots where coolant and oil are next to each other.
