alright alright I guess maybe the caption contest wasn't the best idea....just trying to think of fun stuff

Fuddruckers has pretty decent burgers for the price, plus I just think it's a pretty fun location.

Yep, was trying to go out to eat last night when the rear d/s wheel bearing locked up completely. Drug the car off the road and into someones driveway last night around 10pm, had to go get my uncles trailer, 30 min away and unload the stock car off it. Now its still sitting on the trailer, out side my parents house. Planing on replacing it Saturday, along with replacing the parking brakes and test fitting a condenser.

Horray for rallycross. It should be a fun event. I'm headed up to Matt's tonight, then we are bound for Cannon Falls, MN tomorrow morning. When I checked this morning, there were 24 cars signed up for the event. Time to play in the dirt.

I am selling one set of my summer wheels/tires next weekend and the other set will stay on the rack until they're sold as well.

Thanks Jeff! I was amused that it turned out exactly like I said it would.

It's faaaar too cold for me to swap out to my summer tires, it is only March... I suppose I can understand if you're swapping back to all seasons or something.

Also, potholes.

Ouch! I didn't give and indication that it was having issues? I've never heard of wheel bearings locking up like this and I've seen/heard some that are in really bad shape.

It's really not as bad as it looks. The youtube videos make it seem overwhelming, but it's pretty self-explanatory when you're out there.

I probably will. I feel bad driving on my Blizzaks when it's this warm.

I can't believe I forgot to post up about the April Spools Meet. The DSM guys last year were pretty cool.

I think it would be fun, but I have a feeling a couple of hoodlums would make it get outta hand...

It was making a slight noise for a week or so now, but the other one that was going out(before I replaced it) made A LOT more noise. When I was getting on the interstate last night it felt like I hit something. multiple times. So I pulled over and checked everything over, nothing looked wrong. Figured out that it was the wheel bearing shortly after getting moving again. Drove it through town trying to get it home and didn't even make it halfway. While loading it on to the trailer, my dad said the wheel was literally moving back and forth in the wheel well. Its completely shot.

Yeah, all 6 of us . There was like 30 of you subaru guys that crashed our meet!

I just figure with ratios like that it's pointless to call it a DSM meet.

Good Call. I will see if the DSM guys agree.

Anyone have a preference of April 2nd or April 3rd? Last year it was a Saturday.

Is Fuddruckers going to be big enough? We could probably fill their "conference room" with just Subaru people.

I thought I remembered that room we ate in a while back was fairly sizeable, but I could be mistaken

Ooooh.....so I should have clarified...I was thinking Fuddruckers for our next monthly meet, not April Spools haha. Yeah, I could see size being an issue there.

Ooo I just got an idea for meet that I think would be really cool.

We could meet downtown at the top of the parking ramp that is at 3rd and Court ave. We could eat right across the street at Legends - I am guessing they have a party room... but they may not. Dos Rios is right there as well.

The top of the parking ramp would be great for the guys that like to take pictures and I don't *think* there is an charge for parking here after 5 or 6 PM, but we'd need to check on that.

Any time I hit the downtown bars/restaurants, I park my car here.

If we do this - Justin isn't allowed to go over to Liars club and drink double Whiskys on the rocks.

I totally just was thinking of this too. I was trying to think of a place to meet for the World of Wheels show, and I thought about the top of the parking garage that is west of the event center..... but I don't if they will be charging at that time or not, I will have to check it out.

I will do some restaurant scouting on Sunday, as a meet on/near Court Ave. sounds great! Should we wait till its warmer? or does anytime work?
