Default Random Tech Cat; what midpipe size

I had the latest generation Random Tech cat attached to my otherwise stock headers and midpipe; it turns out the midpipe's a bit small and there's a leak where the pipe and cat attach. I've been thinking of getting a used Stromung, but I want to make sure the size is right. I'd guess the stock pipe is less than the 2.25" Stromung, but I want to be sure.

Question

Does anyone know at least the stock midpipe size?

I'm not 100% sure but I think that the stock sizing was 1.17. A Stomung midpipe will do great though.

What dimensions is that?

I would guess 2.25 inches.

Well, no wonder there's a leak; I guess the Random Tec kind of requires a larger midpipe than stock. Now to find one.

You could always get one made for pretty cheap.

It would be nice to know for sure since I am just about to get a stromung midpipe. There must be a way to find out the sizing of the random tech?
