Default IAG AOS Street on EJ205 WRX and EJ207

For the drive by cable cars IAG AOS are not available off the shelf. I have one on my 207 and recently saw some one on Facebook trying to do the same so I thought id make a quick post with what you need to install one on an EJ20.

The instructions that come with the AOS are VERY good and IAG answered a couple questions when I reached out to them. So I am not going to repeat the already meticulous documentation that they contain.

The main difference between the EJ25 that these are intended for and the DBC EJ20 is the PCV System. Our PCVs are mounted on the back side of the intake manifold. The EJ25 has a nipple where our PCV is, and it has a hose going to the turbo inlet pipe that has the PCV in line with a blow by sensor.

For an EJ20 to equip an IAG AOS you need to remove your PCV and replace it with that nipple. Its part # 14076AA030

Here is a picture of the hose routing

The line to the turbo inlet blow by sensor instead just goes to the nipple on the turbo inlet hose instead.

The colors I chose are not that great but dont miss the oil drain line(purple) and the crank case breather line(dark blue).

IAG made a clear point that the oil drain line cannot droop, so be careful with its installation, its end point should be the lowest point in its path.

Edit:
discussion about installation on 04-05WRX can be found here https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...0#post46572360

Hi 86Dreams,

Thanks so much for the forum making me rethink not selling this AOS.

Can you please send me a photo of where all the hoses connect? Unable to open the link in your post

So this is the only change you have to make to use the IAG AOS with EJ207?

Yes. I believe this information is now included in the IAG instructions.
