Stock for stock, yes. They also cost more. And its a lot harder to find one unmolested than a subaru. A friend has been looking for a bone stock evo 8 for 6 months now.

But I have always liked evos.

Don't feel bad, I was supposed to meet someone at work at 6 this morning to help her catch up on paperwork. It's now 7:26 and she hasn't called or shown up.:very angry:

She has till 8, I'm not sitting here waiting all day hungover as hell on 2 hours or sleep for free either.

I walked out to smoke called my dad(we work together) and said she has till I finish my cog and I'm leaving. I was walkin over to put it in the butt bucket and she pulled up. Part of me was happy because I need the hours really bad, and a small piece of what little bit of a soul I have left died.

I've seen a few stock evos. Just have to travel. They hold the value very well.
I kind of want one molested only cuz I'm tired of waiting 5 years to add an intake. I'm torn

It's the same way in retail. A little piece of you dies every day and your hope for humanity as a whole turns a little more bitter.

Torn on what?

If any of what you've been through with you're current car has sunk in you don't want a modified evo. They make more power easier than subarus because they're easier platforms, they aren't immune to having issues. If a car is easy to work on, it's just as easy to mess up. Get one that's "molested" a little too much and you could see yourself in the same situation you're in now, chasing down problems frequently, only this time you have a pointy bumper and a car payment.

Damn straight. Just buy a cheapie car and fix the one you have. When you get it where you want your subie sell the pos car and drive the subie again. If you do what I do keep the subie as a play car and drive your Pos everywhere else.

By out I mean I'll be there... duh.

What in the world do you want your car to do for 15K?

So you would rather have a stock EVO than a $15K modified Subaru? That's just silly...If that is the case, put your subie back to stock and that will cost you less than both of the other options.
