Default DIY Wheel Bearing Replacement?

Has anyone replaced wheel bearings before? I think I'm about due and after the last track day I started noticing some new noises. How hard is it? What steps are involved? Are there any "special" wheel bearings that might be better than others?

Thanks,

Tim

wheel bearings are not as simple as you would like to think. If you don't have the right tools, it may be a pain in the arse and most likely you'll waste your time trying to take them off to no avail.

I've never changed Subaru wheel bearing before but i've changed bearings on other cars before.

You'll most likely need a tool called a slide hammer or some type of puller because the wheel bearing is more than likely pressed into the spindle.

Prolly be best for you to take it in to a shoip that has the tools and the experience to replace them....
