Cold temp resulting in 2 burnt headlight bulbs???
Last night was pretty cold in MA. On my way home from work, my headlights seemed fine. I got home around 5:30 and hung out until about 9pm. I drove to the gym and the headlights seemed fine then too but at around 10pm, as I'm pulling out of the parking lot, I notice in the reflection of some windows that my headlights aren't on. Only my foglights are on. My high beams seem to work fine but both of my headlights are out.
Could cold temperature do this? My headlights are Sylvania Silverstars. My fiance has been running Silverstars on her car longer than I have and hers are fine. I haven't looked at the bulbs yet because it's just too cold to fumble around under the hood and it's such a pain to get the bulbs out. So before I do that, I'd like to know what MIGHT have caused this. Could it be a fuse? |
