You can get them on ebay for like $50. My friend with an 04 wrx wrb wagon did that and just uses the grimmspees wrb to match it. They come unpainted.

Ebay doesnt make parts!

I have lots of crap on my car from vendors on ebay, and I have yet to have anything fail on me.

Just do your research and everything will be hunky dory

Hey what are your wheel/tire specs and what rolling or modifications did you do. Love the way it sits. Damn near perfect.

The wagon 04-07 tails are inset and have no foam/plastic piece to cut off while the 'blob' hangs over. The blob on the wagons actually is designed to sit inside a dip in the 04-07 bumpers.

On the 02-03 bumper with 04-07 wagon tails, you need to cut a fair bit of the bumper cover out to make them fit.

Difficulty: 3/10 or so, but completely non-reversible. You'll have to do a good job of fiberglass work to fill the hole if you want to go back to bug tails again, or get a new bumper skin.

I'll take a pic of how much was cut away next time I get a chance.

To follow up....

For anyone that was interested, here are the pics of my bumper modification to fit 04-07 wagon tails in a 02/03 bumper.
(sorry for the filthy car, it was immediately before a wash)

The cut was not too complicated, but it was more agressive than I thought it would be, especially knowing the sedan swap only requires you to remove some foam...

As you can see, I cut as much plastic away as possible towards the front of the car, to make room for the backside of the 'blob' on the light, and only cut as much down towards the ground as I needed to fit the lower edge of the circle.
This was all done by dremel using a cutoff disc (metal disc, with teeth, not sandpaper or whatever).

Wheel specs are 17x9 +45 with 245 40 tires. Rears should be rolled and pulled a little. Thanks for the compliment!
