Well guys- Its officially the end of an era for me. I have started to part my WRX out and I just put a deposit down on an incoming Ascent Limited with Tech Pkg.

With a growing family, desire to take road trips, and the need to use my car for work more, I decided to forego my WRX for the Ascent. I will eventually get another project car, but for now I will mod the Ascent while keeping it a comfortable daily/family hauler. This was the best WRX Ive ever owned but I am excited for something different and the prospect of a new project (whenever that time comes).

If anyone wants anything, let me know or keep an eye out on the classifieds.

Well... I couldn’t sell the car after all. Went back to stock and the day I was supposed to pick up my Ascent I just couldn’t get myself to go down and make the trade. I know, I have an illness but I guess I love this car and it will be stuck with me. So with that said, I bought some new wheels for it 😂. I still have most my parts but I’m not sure what I’ll put back on yet.

Yes, I know I have a “car problem” 😀😀😎

Here are my new 57DR’s in Gun Blue II (amazing color in person)

Congrats on keeping your WRX, nice wheels and you can see this as a chance to build your car again, maybe different this time. I made the mistake and got rid of WRX only to come back 2 years later, missed driving a WRX so much during that time.

IDK some off road steez on the ascent could have been dope fun too. Glad you're happy with the WRX, somethings are just meant to be.

Thanks for the wheels Jeff! Those 57DR look sick! What tires are you going to put on them?

Quick update- Car is pretty much back to where it was prior to going back to stock. However, I sold the LSD and center console when I was starting the part out

I had HG Motorsports install a Whiteline Roll Center kit as well as an alignment. From there I put the Greddy SP cat-back on again and CF Driveshaft, but also got everything for a proper retrofit:

2017 Base Headlights- Donor set
Diode Dynamics 2015-2017 Subaru WRX/STi C-Light Switchback LED Boards
Diode Dynamics DRL Harness
Morimoto D2S 5.0 Bixenon Projectors
Retro Mounting Hardware
Hylux 2A88 (35W)
D2S: XB 4500K
High Beam Splitters- 9005 Female > 9005/9006 Male Splitters
HD Relay: H11/H9/H8
RetroRubber
100mm Rubber Cap

I was going to do it myself but decided to send everything to Evil headlights instead. Hope to have it all back and installed soon. Not having housing painted or anything crazy like demon eyes/halos.

Why did you switch from the HKS to the Greddy?

Which CB did you have on when you tuned?
