Last night i got the "do a burn out" but the worst one has got to be this one guy (whom drives a cummins) told me that if i put diesel in my car then the turbo will boost harder.

Mine would have to be when I first got the car. I got in a 5 minute argument with my step father, He was dead set that the car was a sedan. After about 5 minutes of trying to conivnce him it is a wagon and cleary says wagon on the title, I decided to give up. He still to this day calls it a sedan :/

Has he looked at your wagon? Does he even know WTF the sedan and a wagon are? Or is he just ducking retarded?

Some of the upper end euro manufacturers have 4 door models that they call coupes. It's all a blur nowadays.

I've gotten, "do donuts!" on dry days from my friends. Then they ask why I can't do it, Ken Block does it just fine. Yeah but his cars are 600+ AWHP.

I've done it in a STi with just an exhaust intake and tune launch it then cut the wheel. It'll spin

He leaves the parking lot, and launches... a few seconds later, I hear a cop pull him over.

My friend after I installed my N1
Me: So i just installed my N1 dude.
Him: Let me hear it!
Me: *starts up car
Him: *jaw drops, eyes wide open.. HOLY ****
Me: *widest smile on my face
Him: give it a little rev.
Me: okay *little rev to 3k

Me: thanks i like it a lot! (2002 WRB WRX, all stock except RA mudflaps)
Guy: Is it an STi?
Me: nope, just a WRX, they didnt have STi's in America until 04
Guy: oh cool its still nice! I sell Subarus for a living!
Me: oh sweet

not overly hilarious and I wasnt a d-bag but it blows my mind that he sells them for a living and couldnt tell whether or not it was an STi

Have you been to a subaru dealership lately? Hardly any of them know what the hell a WRX or STI is. The one's near me aren't even allowed to drive the WRX, STi, or BRZ's they have on the lot. They don't allow customer test drives either.

This is true and every salesmen I've talked too has said our customers know more about the cars than we do so we don't even try.

Vinnie at patriot who i bought mine from knows his stuff. He has an sti and is an active member on iwsti.

just sayin they're not all bad.

I've found a lot if dealerships have one guy who is there go to for the wrx/sti

Evergreen also has a services manager who is good. Can't remember his name but he drives an 11 sedan I believe and always is very helpful.

That being said I wouldn't consider myself to be the most knowledgeable one on here so you all are probably just way more hardcore than me

Out of the 4 dealers I've interacted with, I've met one person that was an expert on the car, and he wasn't a salesman, just some guy they hired to do the test drives. This was at the Alexandria, VA dealership.
