Age 29 had a CPO 2013 991.1 C2S and sold it after owning it for a 2 years. Switched priorities and gave up high end sports cars in order to completely pay off my student loan in short order, so I went to my local Subaru dealer and bought a 2015 wrx base outright. The SA looked at me funny when I told him what my last car was, and the dealer experience was friendly...simple..a bit different coming from Porsche. Paid off student loan 9 months ago, and have owned the Subaru now for 4 years. It’s done it’s job for me relatively problem free, and has been a great all arounder that checked certain boxes for me without a car payment.

I’m 33 now, the car is still in excellent shape and I’ll likely keep her and beat on her a while longer. I’m growing a bit tired of the unrefined nature of the car as far as lack of luxuries and harshness/noise. As far as perception of the vehicle, for 4 years I’ve looked at a lot of people my age getting into luxury SUVs and Mercedes/bmw type stuff. It didn’t bother me to be honest....I’ve missed my Porsche dearly but I made the best decision at the time to focus my efforts on the student loan.

In another 9 months I’ll be in the market for either a CPO 991.2 or the upcoming 992. At that time I’ll likely keep the wrx as my daily.

I am in my mid 40's and just got my first Subaru, a 2019 STi limited.
I was looking for a fun car and was actually looking at a Focus RS. I also looked at the Golf R and a few others. I didn't was a boring old mans car and i didn't want a boy racer like the Type R.
I wanted a lip spoiler STi but couldn't find one in the area so i decided to get a more low key color. Ended up with a white STi and i am loving it.

Honestly, I'm 40 years old and I would not have bought my STI if I had young kids, but being my kids are 20 and 19 and I spent most of my younger years raising them, I will now have my fun.

I am 33 and I drove a bugeye rs from 18-31. Now that I have a wrx I think anyone younger should be kept to momentum cars. Stats agree. Iím very glad I waited till I was 30+, also anyone who vapes should not be allowed to drive. Period.

Iím 37. ive got a 2016, with a 6mt and two child seats in the back. My mindset used to be ďget the lowest trim level with the performance options you want,Ē but now that I'm a little older I went with a loaded one. Thats my consession for getting older.

Iíll be 37 this month. Was finally able to afford a 2018 STI. I have a list of to-doís already, but a few of them will have to wait, I donít want to void the warranty. I say, itís your life, who cares what others may think, if you like it, thatís all that matters!

I'm 46 and just bought a '19 WRX Limited. Have previously owned an Outback XT and Legacy Spec B. I don't plan any mods other than tint and tires.

I'm 69 driving a 2018 WRX with performance package, WWB. The car is a great driver, much better than my former 2014 STI.

I'm 32 years old. Currently your basic Stage 2 with ALL supporting. E85, FMIC, and protuned by Boosted Performance Tuning. I plan on upgrading my turbo to reach my goals of 400whp.

The car sits static-tucked on Fortune Auto 500 coilovers, OriginLab 70" GT wing, Rota Torque 18x9.5 wheels with a Tomei Expreme Ti exhaust.

Just turned 30 but ive had my wrx for 11 years. Its a psm wingless, debadged 2004 sedan. Sti splitters and sometimes vlimited lip. Low on 16" black advan rc. Twin tip exhaust painted black as well, so Its pretty mellow setup compared to most wrxs. Never selling it

30, 2006 STi, used to like the race look, but now I like as stock as possible aside from tint, powder coated wheels (which newer stis and wrxs come with factory), smoked headlights (now factory also), and coilovers.

Wingless.

Stage 3+, built motor, fp green plus supporting mods. factory muffler 😈. California is a bitch.

I'll be 31 in march and Just bought my first Subaru 2 weeks ago. 2013 WRX, 55k miles on the car, 5k miles on a new motor installed by Subaru (I was told the turbo was leaking) new brakes and rotors all around, new tires, and new rear struts. This car is amazing

I had a 2002 WRX when I was 27-34:

And another (this time a bugeye wagon) when I was 36-38:

I guess you could say I have a WRX or Subaru problem/obsession.
