![]() I have the Sti/Spt stainless exhaust (factory installed) and I like the sound. It's definitely not as loud as the other vendors out there but it's much better than stock. My only issue with it as others have mentioned is that it sits quite low compared to stock. There is quite the gap between the tips and the bumper.
Has anybody tried using hose clamps like this to raise the exhaust: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...r-162224.html? Or are people having the exhaust hangers physically modified (welding/cutting/etc) so it sits higher? |

![]() The hose clamp trick works quite well, though don't expect more than 1/2"-3/4" of adjustment.

![]() To answer a few requests, here's a short sound clip of my new Cobb J-pipe. Revving, drive by, and in-car. Additional mods are resonated Q300 and Mishimoto intake.

![]() Just got my ets CBE! Question - How are you guys mating an aftermarket midpipe to the stock downpipe? The stock donut gasket doesn't really fit into the ets midpipe as it's too fat. It certainly looks much more effective than the thin gasket that came with the ets exhaust though. Are most people just using the provided gasket and calling it good enough?

![]() Jonny,
I got the ETS CBE and you have to take that donut that comes with the stock exhaust off and add the gasket that comes with the ETS exhaust. no adapters needed it hooks right up to the OEM Jpipe Quote:

![]() Sweet deal! Post up pics of the tips once installed. I for one would appreciate a video, even if it is just smart phone, of the sound inside and out. Let us know how fitment is!

![]() You guys were right.
I just installed the Invidia Q300 and it is very quiet. Stock-like quiet. Not sure if it's much louder than stock, but it isn't noticeable at all in-cabin. I upgraded from a Nameless Axle-back muffler delete. |

![]() Does anyone have an outside driving video of the Tsudo exhaust? I've only found 1 on YouTube but it's pretty short.

I heard the Q300 isn't worth the upgrade unless you go with a catless J-pipe down the road. |
