Everything I've heard is that the Perrin was louder. If the Q300 is louder that's new to me.

Assuming we are talking about the perrin quad tip, I feel it is one of the quietist systems on the EJ.
I am always shocked at loud the q300 is on the EJ.

From my experience with the Invidia Q300 and Dual N1 on my 2009 wrx, I can say that the tone of the Q300 is more annoying to me than the Dual N1 at highway speeds. When the Dual N1's are cold they are very loud and the tone drones, but when they warm up they mellow out.

I prefer the N1 dual over the Q300 which aways seems to have an annoying tone to my ears.

Each person's experience will vary due to variations in "ears".

After hearing this dyno pull of a 15 with ELH, catless DP, and the Q300 I think I'll be going with the Perrin. The rasp a few seconds in the pull is not what i'm looking for.

Skip to 3:20 for the run.

I picked up a used perrin resonated system for 600. It sounds great but I'm not sure I want it any louder and makes me think twice about a catted downpipe. Maybe I will do tgv deletes and call it good. Or a tsudo with catted downpipe may be the answer?

Install Saturday morning as long as nothing is missing.

For anyone that has already ordered it, it doesn't fit in the trunk in the box like others have been able to with other manufacturers so make sure you have something able to transport it if needed. I found this out the hard way.

Can you take close up pictures of it unboxed? Id like to see the quality of the welds.

Sent from my SCH-I545 using NASIOC mobile app

I will be taking pictures as well as video throughout the install. I was hoping to have comparison videos to stock but I might not be able to get all of the ones I wanted.

We'll see. My fault for procrastinating.

Just stainless steel, black tips are not my cup of tea.

Tsudo CBE + catted jpipe is best bang for your buck imo. Perfect sound level.

Anyone have any drive-by videos of the ETS axelback w/ mufflers? Looking for something loud, but not obnoxious. Leaning toward the nameless w/ 5in mufflers atm.

I have the Q300 with Invdia catted DP. I dont think its loud at all. The best way I could describe that exhaust is you more feel it than anything else. Its deep sound you can feel.

Depending on when Mishimoto releases their CBE and more importantly how loud it is (drone) if it's too loud for my liking, setup above is most likely way I'll be going as well.
