Exhaust on the 2009 WRX sedan
i've been looking at exhausts from all kinds of brands. The ones i've found really likeable are perrin, turbo xs, magnaflow, borla, and megan racing. I know thats like basically all of them, but my friend suggests to go with magnaflow. But before i choose, i would like some other inputs and opinions. Suggestions?

I am looking for the same for my 08. I would say go for a 3" exhaust. Many of the ones for the sedan right now are 2.5". I think that is becuase many sedans where 2.5I instead of the WRX.
From what I have read and been told the WRX loves that 3". Are you looking at doing a cat back or turbo back? |

i have the borla catback on my 08 wrx. im happy with it. i had to buy an adapter to get it to mate up to my perrin downpipe. the borla is made for the factory downpipe. that was the only negative thing. it sounds pretty good with the downpipe also. just my thoughts. here they are side by side.

I'm running a Perrin catback on my '09 and I've been very pleased. REALLY great note to it, not TOO loud, no drone, no fitment problems on the stock downpipe.
Heard that the Borla's are great as well, but I couldn't really make the stretch to the extra asking price. |
