Leather steering wheel cover
Hi,
I just installed a eurotone wheelskin steering wheel cover on my L+ Forester. Red on the top and bottom and charcoal on the sides. It took about an hour and really looks great and feels better! I ordered it from a site in Auto week and it was cheaper than ordering it through the wheelskins site. The color combination picks up the red needle color on the gauges and the red on the door locks and sets the interior off nicely. If I knew how to post pics I would. Gene

How much with shipping? URL?
I need one for my wife's car. By the way, you made an excellent purchase. The product is fantastic. Seriously, I had one in my previous car for 7 years. I bought the Forester and tried a cheap leather cover from a local shop. Bad idea - I hated it. So I actually removed the Wheelskin from the old car, since I could not find it locally, and reinstalled it on my Subie! 4 years later, 11 years overall, it still looks great and feels even better. It'll outlast anything else on the vehicle, trust me. -juice |

Wheelskin
Juice,
I ordered the wheelskin from www.dccarcare.com. The eurotone cover was $35 plus $5 for shipping. The site is out of IL. not DC. He has Wheelskin drop ship from Ca. It really feels great . They also show how to install using a baseball stitch.I just used the regular loop stitch though. Gene (PS just type in the above web address in a google search and it should come up. I don't know why it doesn't seem to work from here.) Last edited by gened1; 10-18-2002 at 03:32 PM. |
