You want to be realistic. Go over to the STi thread about the 2.4T putting out 400 hp stock.

Why not CPO? Seems like whenever this new STI is released you'll be able to do a last years CPO S3 or a new STI for the same price. Then again, new STI.

STI Mikey just shared his S209's dyno numbers after tuning it.

Is the 50whp difference between the vanilla STi and the S209 solely down to the turbo?

Well in this case, the S209 has race fuel and the larger turbo, but retains the OEM downpipe. But yes, the S209 OEM power gains are from the turbo, intake, and supporting fuel system. While it makes ~50 whp more up top in this comparison, it's down over 100 wtq at 3,500 rpm.

A loss of 100 wheel torque down low on an already pretty gutless motor isnít great. Itís not like it even revs out to 9000 to make up for it either.

Exactly. Just not impressive at all. Not enough of a boost up top to make up for the massive loss down low. I'd rather daily a base WRX to be honest.
