GD Side under cover?
Does anyone have the factory side under covers installed on their gd sedan?(I'm not taking about the side skirts.)
I bought a set to put on my 02 but don't know how to mount them. I may be missing something or maybe they're just not compatible. The parts I am talking about are in this picture on the sides of the bottom of the car. https://goo.gl/images/px99BM Thanks for the input.

They aren't compatible with the 02-03 unless you modify them to work

I recently put a set on my O2 sedan… They fit right up, but you need to drill some holes. There’s a DIY out there somewhere, which explains all the steps…

Drilled the chassis… I don’t recall much about install other than that it was very straightforward. I taped the cover up, one set of holes I believe is already there and the other side I had to drill. I did have to trim the cover slightly to clear my sub frame because I have an ALK installed which lowers the sub frame.
BigskyWRX did a write up on it… I can’t remember if it’s on this site or another one. The write up has a list of all the factory clip/bolts which make it look like a factory install. |

It really is a piece a cake… You’re just drilling some very thin sheet metal. About the only trick is to make sure the holes are the right size so the plastic clips hold securely. If you live where rust is an issue, you might paint around the edges of the holes…

I get the hesitation now… Rust is absolutely a non-issue where I live…
