Default Connecting a wideband 02 to stock harness for stand alone ecu

Help !!!
I have a 4 wire wideband 02 sensor that I am trying to interface to the stock 2.0l sti from 2003
I am using the front factory 02 sensor wiring as there are 4 wires theres
My Wideband has four wires two white grey and black how do I connect these to the stock harness ? anyone got a diagram ? or done this before ? I am not using the stock front 02 sensor connector as that was cut off I am splicing directly to the harness.

This should give you some idea of how it can be done..

Check the LC-1 manual from innovate motorsports. I am pretty sure it has the wiring assignment for the sensor.

Can your ECU handle the signal from the WB sensor? It will likely have higher voltage range (5V) then the stock narrow band sensor (1V).

What do you hope to achieve by feeding the WB into the ECU?

Ok - I have fitted an autronics stand alone ecu and it come with a wideband - now the ecu is expecting the signal on pin d29 - but of the four wires on the wideband which is the signal that goes to the stock harness that eventualyl ends up as d29 - the harness has all sorts of colours - the wideband only three - I wll check the innovate manual as well

The autronic will not atake a wideband input directly. You need to use the autronic wideband controller. Off of the wideband controller there is a 5v and 1v output.

the autronic does allow for direct connection of ntk / uego / bosch widebands to it directly - they just cant be used for autotune - but for viewing the lambda in the logging software its perfect - assuming I had the controller to which wires would this connect - this is what I would call a layer 1 problem - the physical interface is not correct yet

on the sm4 it's pin 37 for the signal and pin 22 for the sensor ground.

or

2-white wires= one 12 V and the other ground, black wire is O2 signal and grey are sensor ground. Have you wired like this? There is no need for making a table since choosing Direct O2 sensor will work. but according to Ray:

"There is no exhaust gas analyser in the SM4. You can connect a narrow or wide band four wire sensor directly to the SM4 for closed loop control. It will only be accurate from 13.5 to 15.5 air fuel ratio. If you want wide band accuracy, you need the Autronic A or B model analyser connected between the sensor and the SM4.

To make the directly connected 02 sensor work for CLC you need to select "LS 11 02" in the software."

Hi Drac - thanks for the info - I am also a member on the autronics board and I got that info - I think I posted or started that thread myself - the problem is which of the wires on the stock oem harness - match with the 02 sensors wires - I have the info on the 02 sensor - the problem is which wires from the 02 sensor go to which wires on the OEM harness - I can power the 02 sensor up - ie it gets hot - but I cant get the signal - this is what is stumping me
