Default (PA) 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited - Manual

I guess this is a feeler although I hate feeler posts. I just want to know if these cars have any value any more and maybe get some advice.

I have a 1998 Outback Limited manual and I think that combination is pretty rare. It is also fairly low miles. The problem is that the engine is dead and the car has been sitting ever since it died. I have an engine that I paid ~1000 bucks for sitting on an engine stand along with a bunch of new replacement parts. Unfortunately, I abandoned the project quite a few years ago and it is coming up on the second time to move the dead car because I am changing houses and I know that I will just never get around to fixing this car. Do you guys think this car has any value other than scrap? Should I sell the engine separately from the car? Anyone interested?

How long has it been setting without being driven? How many miles on it?

I just checked. 112k miles. I guess that's low miles to me but I realized that may not be low to other people.

It was last driven about 9 years ago.

That's low mileage for a Subaru. But it's been parked too long for most people to take a chance on other than for parts. Thanks for the reply
