Ok I think I have made a decision and I just want to triple check everything here. I've read the thread multiple times and I think the setup below will fit no problem.

Wheels: ROTA Grid 18x9.5" +38 Hyper Black
Tires: Sumitomo HTR ZIII 245/40R18 (I know this is a little stretch but I am ok with that)
Lugs: Muteki SR48 Open Ended Lug Nuts 12x1.25mm Thread Pitch Black
Suspension: I have the BC BR Coilovers with a 1 finger gap.

Now here is the real question. Based on other people in this thread I should be good with just a roll in the rears but I was reading some other sources that said a roll and pull might be needed on all four corners. Can anyone comment on this?

Even if lowered, you should be fine with a rear roll, if that.

I am looking at the Rota D's 18X9.5" +40 flat black. Tire size will be 265/40/18. As for suspension I have Eibach Pro-Plus kit (front and rear sways and Pro Kit spring which are about a 1" drop from stock. Part Number 7723.880). Will this setup work?

Im a total noob when it comes to rims and tires... Is there a set-up for those rims that would work better? I dont mind rolling the fenders but i do want to avoid tire rub as much as possible.

I was thinking the same. Would a 265/40 or 265/35 fit?

On an 8" wheel will be extremely sloppy.

Same. I wouldn't go wider than a 245. Honestly, for DD'ing, there is absolutely no need for a 265+ tire.

That's right my mustang had 265 in the 17x8 stock rims.

Ok, more of the same:
18x8.5", +49 (SSR type C) - would this fit with a 265 tire with stock on suspension (without rolling rear fenders)?

You'll have problems with inboard clearance, as in running on the suspension.

265/35/18 is a great size for a 9 or 9.5" rim. I had 275/35's on my mustang and they fit great on a 9.5" rim with a slight bulge.

265/40 will be too much of a sidewall and look funny. I think M3's have that size on the back and they are bulky as hell.

Pretty sure no mustangs came with a 265 tire on a 17x8 wheel. 03 Cobra's had 275/40 on an 17x9" wheel, but when you go up to 18's, you want a bit less sidewall.

I wasn't saying they came with it, just that the mustang guys do put 265s and even 275s on the 17x8.

This is just the other end of the wrong fitment thing, bulge instead of stretching.. both hinder performance, some just prefer meaty rubber

Anyone have 17x8 +42 offset on a 2011 wrx? I'm getting tc105n. Just wondering if that would be too flushed in.

that's the same size as the stock wrx wheels just 10mm lower offset. Yes it'll still be sunken in

Thanks for the input man. Do you think Rear Camber Plates would be needed or should I be good without them? Also, Will any fender well modification need to be done to account for bump travel?

For Reference - 18x9.5" +38 245/40R18 1 Finger Gap all around.

Edit: Answered my own question. "Do you think Rear Camber Plates would be needed or should I be good without them? " Rear camber plates don't work on the new suspensions because they are double arm. The only way to have camber adjustments in the rear is adjustable control arms.
