"fitted" MRT exhaust kit
Well, It does add some power to my butt dyno, and I am going to Gtech it tonight or tommorow for some numbers.
But so far, installation was not all that easy. It only came with one O2 sensor bung. The mid pipe hanger bar didn't even come close to matching up, and the rear mffler section was about 3 inches short and the muffler tip is also 3 inches to short. And no it is not an impreza kit. Its alot quieter than I expected. But that will change.

Don't bother with the group buy. Just fax them all your info. It will be the same price and it will be quicker.
As for the fitment, well, go to a good muffler shop with a case of good beer and they will sort it out. These guys said they put on the borla one for a 2.5 rs, and it was the new borla, and the MRT fit better.Hmm? Anyways, More power? yes Quiter idle? yes. Loud grumble on WOT? yep!!! And those nice poppidy pops we all love on in gear decel? Oh yeah. Kinda sounds like I have a turbo. (FIA 99 kinda turbo) |

I, too, am in on the GB, froggert. You can bet your arse I'll be getting some money back from CTC if this thing really doesn't fit right. We shall see.
