Looking for confirmation of fit for any of these wheels:

Enkei TS10 18x8.5 +50

Wedsport SA72R 18x8.5 +50

Gramlights 57cr 18x8.5 +50

Volk TE37 18x8.5 +50

Probably will never splurge that much on Volks, but 15lbs makes it tempting

Default 19" TE 37 Ultra Fitnent Question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experience with this particular fitment, with the new brakes on the sti. I am a newbie to this stuff, so please forgive me if this is a dumb question.

I am looking to putting on a set of 19×9.5 +35 TE37 Ultras. They are quite expensive, so I dont want to make a mistake. Will these fit on my car, and will they work with the stock suspension? Will I have to do any fender roll? Will they clear the brakes? The car came with 19s, so I'd like to keep the same diameter of wheel. Also, in the future, I'd like to change out the suspension to aftermarket, with control arms. Does anyone have a similar set up, who can give me solid advice please? Would it be better to go with an offset that is in the +40s range? Will it still look good, and will it clear the brakes?

Thanks a lot guys! I'm a newb with this stuff!

Hey! The Volk Racing TE37 Ultra in 19x9.5 comes in two offsets for the new 2018+ STI. You can choose the 19x9.5 +44 which will fit the car no problem, clear your Brembos and your fenders even with a drop. But the only downside is you get a Face 2 Concave. Which will look like this on the car:

Or you can go with the 19x9.5 +35 which also clears your 18+ 6-Pot Brembos (if anyone else reading this that has an STI from 2015-2017 these wheels will require 3mm spacers), but depending on tire size and camber settings this setup will rub your fenders in the rear. If you do plan on dropping the car with coilovers and getting lower control arms, you could fix the issue with a smaller tire and add negative camber in the rear. But with this setup, we still recommend a mild roll in the rear. Plus side is you get the Face 3 concave face which looks like this:

I really like the face 3 concave. If it was possible to get a custom fit of 19×9.5+37, with face 3, would that work?

You are welcome.

Volk does not make a +37 offset and they do not offer custom one off sets.

Let me know if you want to order any of those sets and I can help you out

It is okay to assume Enkei TS-10 18's that were mounted on a 2015 STi will fit my 2019 STi?
The guy doesn't know the specs and I'm not looking to throw money out the window if they dont fit. Can't test fit them, unfortunately.

Wound up going with a set of 08-14 BBS's for Autox wheels. Had them repaired and powdercoated gloss black. Turned out pretty good...

So 18x9 ET 35 with a 245/40 tire should clear no problem correct?

At first I was concerned because I saw 18x9.5 et 40 wouldn't clear, but then I realized that was for pre 18 brembos. The new 6 piston brembos are thinner than the previous year STI brembos?

Nope, as every wheel design is different. It's more how the spokes are designed as to whether it will clear these big calipers.

looking to confirm that Wedssport SA-10R 18x8.5 -45 will fit the 2019 STI.

They only come in face 'F' for the 18x8.5 which is my worry it might not clear the brembos

Or the SSR GTX01 18x8.5 offset 44.
thanks in advance

I gotta newb question: What size tire height would I want, if I go to 18" from my 19", so that the OD of the wheel/tire combo is exactly the same?

I have a 2019 STi limited (not sure if the limited part matters?), with stock 19" rims and the yellow 6-piston front brakes.. I want to get some winter rims, that will match the current factory OD so that the speedo/odo is not thrown off. I don't plan to lower the car, or do coilovers, or change camber, or roll fenders. So, that's my goals. Oh- want something that looks decent* of course, but don't want to spend crazy money on this part.

Looks like 245/35-19 is the stock tire size? So, would I want 245/45-18 if I step down to 18" rims that fit? I say 18" because I'm under the impression that 18" rims are more plentiful than 19"? Also 18" tires cheaper than the 19"?

*By decent- how can you tell what amount of concave (or is it convex) you can run, so that there is a pleasing amount of bow to the rim spokes, yet they fit in the wheelwells? Is this the offset that everyone is talking about?
Thanks!

What tire size do you plan on running?

I got the same set and had them powder coated gold to go on my CWP 19 STi. I was probably going to run 265/35r18 on my autox setup.
Maybe I'll splurge on a set of TC105X 18x8.5 +50. But I'm doubtful on that for now.

245/40r18 would be the same OD for a tire compared to your 245/35r19 stockers.

All different wheels/models will have different concave/convex spokes. You just need to look at their size specs charts and it should be labeled what face design they have.

255/35r18 Re71Rs. I got a deal for almost half price otherwise I would be running 265's.
