Default IS there ports on the rear diffcase

Are there any ports for hooking up fittings to allow a rear differential cooler to be hooked up to the R180 rear diff on the US STI?

No, but being as there is essentially no pressure in there and no circulating pump (the gear oil sits at the bottom of the diff) there wouldn't be any way to efficiently pass the gear oil through a cooler anyway. Subaru rear diff "coolers" tend to be expensive aluminum replacement covers that are heavily vaned to dissipate heat.

There is a diff breather, on top of the rear diff case. But North Ursalia is correct, there is not enough flow nor volume to plumb a cooler.

u could use a small pump and cooler, we have looked into it...

would have to machine the cover to do it the way we want.
