Is it safe to say that this would fit in the 2018 STi?

It's pretty annoying and it sounds like it's either a grounding issue or an amp issue perhaps. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Yes mine does it on all sources with engine running. Gets louder as you increase volume. Engine revs donít affect it. I agree it is super annoying. Itís not too loud but itís there. I tried it without the engine running and the noise isnít there. Has to be a ground or interference issue. Itís not an isolated issue either. Seems pretty common on the outbacks with HK system.

another update from the weekend, so i played around with moving can lines and the such, still no TPMS showing up, so i will have to wait till first week of june to get two of the engineers in my vehicle while i am there with it. I would hope that we should be able to figure it out within a couple days and have an update for the 18 to allow tpms on screen. There are some differences in the canadian cars and the usa cars (the main office and engineering is in canada, i am based in the usa)

HOWEVER, the tpms showing up isnt a big deal for me personally (although it is a neat feature to have) MOst of the gauges seem to be showing up the same as my 16 did and im not sure if the BUS is carrying all of them though. Oil temp isnt on the bus in mine right now, and i believe it was on my 16. id have to go back and look, but most of the main ones are there though.

I have to get into my wifes Forester XT with Harmon and see how that does. which may not happen till next weekend though.

Any plan to support the Sony XAV-AX100, XAV-AX200 or XAV-AX5000?

i dont know who ordered them. I know we shipped out all backorders for them already, and there is more enroute to my main warehouse. I would imagine crutchfield or some other 12v distributors would have them if they pre-ordered them.

I've emailed some of the distributors listed on the iDataLink Maestro website and none of them seems to know what I'm talking about. Guess we'll just have to wait until Crutchfield stocks this.

It is on the website already. All preorders were shipped to the distributors that ordered them. Im in tech support and training. I do not have any influence with sales or shipping at all.

I wish i had a bunch of them to sell, but i have my verification harness only. I cant make them appear any faster. trust me if i could i would....

Back up camera is working as well, along with vehicle info. Doors all show up on screen and well as trunk. I have some further testing to do with the TPMS because as of right now on the 18 it is not applicable. But i will be working to get that resolved soon. i scheduled some r and d with the engineering and i am taking my 18 to the office beginning of june. So while im there hopefully that can get fixed and updated.

One good note is starlink is fine, i still have the greenlight on and i verifed the telematics from the subaru app and by pushing the button in the roof. That is all working as it should,

So thats my update so far. I am using the new Alpine HALO 9 to test with.
Do you happen to have a picture of the HALO 9 installed? I have been thinking of installing it in my crosstrek, just a bit hesitant on how it would look.

i do.... im not sure if i like the angle right now, there are a ton of adjustments you can make. Nice touch is the light under the screen lights up the heater control system. I may play with the alignment some more as time allows.

Default Apline Halo9

Pic for those thinking of getting the Halo9. I went with it because I could't stand all of the negative space around a double din unit.

When I spoke to Crutchfield a little over a week ago, this is what they said:

Quote:
I don't see a SKU number in our system at this time so for the moment at least we are not carrying it. It is very possible we may pick it up in the near future though. We don't always pick up new harnesses as soon as they are released just to make sure there are no bugs or anything to work out. Hopefully we will have it soon.
Maybe if we all keep asking Crutchfield's support for this harness they'll get around to ordering it? I'm not sure how they are going to find out if there are any bugs in this thing if no customers can get their hands on it.
