I was just thinking that if I got those switches, not only would I set one to OBD-II on/off, the other could be rear fog.

Especially these last couple of days, I really want a rear fog. I cannot bring myself to have it work as a brake light or be on all the time.

Yeah my buddy has his on as a brake light that's on all the time. I think Jive's is a brake light as well. Not my cup of tea. I like the OBDII idea for "Sport"... I wish I could make it like the STI's knob where I could press the button and have the BRZ go into a "Sport#" type of mode. Would be hawt.

We got some box with a "Silk Blazen" thingy on the inside and illegible directions today, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that...

...would you?

Working on that. Out of town right now. Hopefully on Monday. Just want to put on extra 3M tape.

I like making heads turn. Plus so far the STI stuff compliments the car the best. I'm not really into super personal customization, like for the laser-etched stuff where I could put my name or something. If I'm going to brand my car I don't want a clash of everyone else's logos all over it. "STI" helps to signify quality and provides unity.

That's my take on it, though. haha

I can agree I am personally a fan of no body kits or changes. Just drop and wheels. And then right on to power. I like a clean not over the top look myself. Which I do feel the sti body kits look good. But I don't want to associate the frs with the sti. But I am also a Toyota fan hence I own an frs. But those sti kits do look awesome.

I REALLY wanted a Toyota GT-86, believe me. If they had at launch what will be the upcoming Monogram Series, I would be in a rebadged FR-S right now. I really wanted my amenities, though. I was already having a tough time giving up my sunroof/moonroof that I had in my Forester and WRX Limited. Alaska is dark for so long during the winter that I knew how important it was for me to feel like I had enough light when the sun DID some out during the winter, which is the middle of the afternoon when I take off for lunch. Also I wanted seat warmers and side mirror defrosters. Push button start was just a bonus. I figured trying to add any of those features (minus push button) on the FR-S later would be more work than I wanted to invest.

If I lived somewhere warmer, I think a stripped down FR-S would've been fine. I did initially like the GT-86/FR-S front bumper much more. The BRZ's was polarizing (as was the name "BRZ"). Now I've grown to love it, though.

NOW we are in business. second shot is money.

would look better if you stepped back a bit, put the car in the bottom right and took in more of the scenery, but this is a very good photo, the chrome accent (pains me to say) actually work and i like those toms tails, literally yours is the only car they look good on in that color.

I wanted to put it in a corner for this shot, but just didn't.

Those 14lbs you saved by buying an FR-S is exactly what's going to give you the edge at Race Wars.

Thanks! And how could one miss FAIRBANKS?! LIES! Although I'm sure the weather up there has been more cooperative than the weather down there. It's been nice up here.

Thanks! I know some guys wanted better taillight pics so I aimed for that goal, plus the STI fender garnishes.

Thanks! 2013 BBS. Light as hell for the size: 18x8.5 @ 20.5 lbs each. I'm gonna be a happy camper once I get 245/40R18 Continental ExtremeContact DW summer tires on them. Light and usable!
