Would a 2016 model q300 bolt right up to a 2014 model wrx?

My favorite Exhaust to date! GPP RS-Race!

Love the aggressive angle of the tip

Default 2015 WRX/ STi exhaust options

I just installed an Invidia N1 race on my 2018 wrx with zero other power mods. I came from a subispeed axle back muffler delete and it was actually pretty loud. I might of had a higher expectation but the Invidia isnít as loud as I expected and Iím a little disappointed. The axle back popped very loud and I expected the invidia to be as loud if not more but it isnít. Ive only had it on for about a week and a half so should I expect it to break in more and get a little louder or a good amount louder? And my one other question is if the Tomei Expreme Ti is louder because it seems like it is but YouTube hasnít been helping me. From the couple videos Iíve found with a stock wrx with just a cat back tomei, it sounds louder than the videos Iíve seen on stock wrxs with just an Invidia N1 exhaust.

Given that you had a muffler delete and now you've got a muffled exhaust, I'm not surprised it's at least a little quieter.

From what I've read on here and other forums, I believe the Tomei is often referred to as the loudest muffled single exit exhaust on the market for the 15+ WRXs. I have no first-hand experience with either the nvidia or the tomei though so I suggest doing your own research on the matter.

FWIW, I spent upwards of 2 months researching what catback to put on my 15 WRX. After considering literally everything from muffler deletes to supposedly really heavily muffled catbacks I settled on a Nameless system.

In no way am I saying you should go for the Nameless system (unless you like the quad-tip and tone of the Nameless, in which case I'd say go with the 4" mufflers if you don't want a muffler delete), but my point is, given how expensive exhausts are for these cars, I highly suggest taking your time with reading as many forums and watching as many videos as you can find on the exhausts you're looking at to get an idea of volume, tone, quality, fitment, etc.

I've had a Corsa cat back on my 2018 for a while now. It fit great, is made really good (thick flanges, all stainless) and sounds great.

Same thing happened to me. I had deletes and then put on a dual invidia n1 and it was crazy how much quieter it was. It never really got louder. After many exhaust setups the conclusion was if you are keeping stock j pipe then get an exhaust with no mufflers. Then if you are changing to aftermarker j pipe then you will be good with any exhaust.

That's what I run on my '15. I'm happy with it and it's what I was looking for. Less raspy, but still has a growl and pops/burbles.

Ive had it on for about a month now and Iím still a tiny bit disappointed its not as loud and doesnít pop as loud as it did but I have to say overall it still is an amazing exhaust. The quality is great and I have to say it looks so good and the fit is perfect.

I would even say the overall sound of the exhaust is a lot better and fits the car better. The deletes were just noise and the good sound from 0-3500 RPM would fade off quickly after 3500 rpm and it would just be humming. Now the Invidia sounds good but gets so much better as you rev out the car. I have to say its a lot more enjoyable to and from school everyday and i can listen to music at the perfect volume without it being too loud to drown out the exhaust but when i want, I get on the throttle and it opens up.
Ive let a couple buddies drive my car so i could hear what it sounds like from outside and it is a lot different outside than inside. It still pops quite loud but itís not comparable to the old one. The pops are muffled but not obnoxious like the old ones (which I loved).

Wow... that looks really good. I debated getting that exhaust but went for the n1 single exit. Same profile, just not aggressive angled like that. Makes me somewhat regret it!
