Default squealing noise help

I'm looking for some help to determine what this squealing might be. I own an 05WRX with 29k miles (20k of those miles are fairly harsh). When I'm turned I can hear a squealing (not tires) coming from the car and I think it might be happened at other times but there are too many other people around me when I hear it that have their own cars making all kinds of sounds.
I'm about to start looking into the power steering system, am I wrong and should I look elsewhere?
Thanks in advance

hey if it sounds like a belt slipping when you are turning, it could be two things, the wheel bearings or the cv joint going, I just took my sti in for the same noise and we both thought it was the wheel bearings, but it turned out to be the cv joint, so it's being replaced tomorrow under the 60K warranty, take it to the dealer ftw!

Bah, I was hoping that wasn't it. I have no warranty so we'll see how much this costs . . .

I've voided every warranty I have. Too bad my old man doesn't work for Subaru anymore . . .
It sounds like it's coming from the left front, but I'm going to get both front wheels looked at. Should I do the rears while I'm at it too?

I wouldn't do anything until you start hearing a noise, personally especially if you're paying out of pocket. You're not going to believe this either. So I just had my cv joint replaced for free under warranty. Noise went away, everything good, until the other day i was driving it, and all of a sudden I take a turn, and the noise is back...I take it in to the dealer and we get it up on the lift. Out of all the freakin luck, something ricochetted(sp?) up and freakin knocked up the seal to the exact same cv joint. You can see where something bounced up from behind and knicked it and now I have to pay for it, because of outside damage. The part is like 600 bucks new but they have a remanned one for 115 plus labor. Long story but just can't believe the luck, I had driven it twice since it was repaired...
