Question 98 Legacy GT w/ a P0466 code

I pulled the code for a co-worker who has a 98 Legacy GT. Can
anyone elaborate on what a:

P0466 EVAP Purge Flow Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

code means and what function the EVAP thing-a-ma-jiggy does.

Cheers...Stu

According to the Service Manual, that code does not exist. The description you provide is a combination of several codes - P1420, 1422, 1440, 1442.

Based on the info you provide, I cannot help you.

Thanks anyhow. The code is pulled using OBD-II sw so ??? He also
says that he smells gas as well. My guess (after a little more reading)
is that there is a leak in the EVAP system. Even though he
has the extended warranty, I would assume that it is covered under
the emmissions warranty which is generally 5yrs.

Thanks...Stu
