Hi Guys,
Unfortunately I hit a dog yesterday on my way home and now need a new front bumper. The insurance adjustor is coming tomorrow to provide an estimate and I need to pick a shop in town to do the work. I have never had body work done to a car and would like some advice on where to go and where not to go. The adjustor said that they have two “guarantee” shops in town, which are Hall’s & Cosner’s. I was thinking of taking it to Brown’s, but I don’t know. My car is SWP and I have seen a number of posts stating that it’s a hard color to match. Any advice is welcome, thanks

Browns did a great job on my wife's taffeta white crv after a deer plowed into her

If it's just a bumper, I'm not sure how brown could screw it up. I'm sure they'll manage somehow though.

I had my broken bumper and dented hatch done at Taylor's. they did a good job for me, but I know barry has had some trouble with work they did. Of course you'll find positive and negative stories for any shop.

Come on out to a meet!

I've had good experiences with both Taylors and Masters for body work.

Yeah I wouldn't go to Brown for something like that.

I would def recommend masters or Taylor's, avoid places like brown and premo auto body.
Good luck.

My ex girlfriend had a lexus is 250 that was a white pearl. it was hit on the d/s door. Taylors did the work and honestly I tried to find where they blended the pearl and coulndnt find it..even in the light in the summer..couldnt see where they repaired it. They do a good job over there.

Careful in the old Comdial lot--there's a Albemarle Co. Po-Po station there somewhere.
